In its initial stages, MIDIVIS is a visualization program that responds to MIDI events from a sequencer or MIDI instrument. Different drawing parameters can be applied to individual instruments, to create rich and highly synchronized visuals. Control parameters can be linked to visual effects. In these demos, reverb and lo-pass filter are linked to motion blur, brightness and colour hue to illustrate the effects.
